Virtual IBAN

Give every client their own IBAN

A virtual IBAN routes incoming payments straight to your master account, each one named to a client, currency or business line, so the money reconciles itself the moment it lands.

Example details shown for illustration.

One account underneath

Many IBANs in, one balance to manage

Open as many virtual IBANs as you need. Every payment settles into the same master account, tagged to the IBAN it arrived on.

Client A, EUR ...9268 19 Client B, USD ...4471 02 UK entity, GBP ...7730 55 Master account Auto-reconciled by IBAN

Why teams use them

Cleaner books, without a bank per client

Automatic reconciliation

Because each payer sends to a unique IBAN, you know who paid without matching references by hand.

Local details, global reach

Give clients an account number that looks and behaves like the one they'd expect, in the currency they pay in.

Structure without overhead

Separate clients, subsidiaries or product lines on paper, while everything settles into one balance you control.

How it works

Live in three steps

Open your master account

Set up a multi-currency Elibrium account, usually within about a day.

Generate virtual IBANs

Create a named IBAN for each client, currency or entity, from the dashboard or the API.

Share and get paid

Payers send to their IBAN; funds land in your master account, already tagged for reconciliation.

Questions

Virtual IBANs, answered

What exactly is a virtual IBAN?

It's a real, routable IBAN that points to an underlying master account rather than a separate bank account. Money sent to it settles into your master balance, identified by the IBAN it was sent to.

How is it different from opening lots of bank accounts?

You get the reconciliation benefit of a per-client account number without the cost and admin of opening and maintaining many standalone accounts.

Can I get IBANs in more than one currency?

Yes, assign IBANs by currency and business line, all feeding the same multi-currency master account.

Do payments arrive any slower?

No. Euro payments settle over SEPA and SEPA Instant, and worldwide payments over SWIFT and TARGET2, the same as any account.
